Job Description

We are representing an award-winning interior design practice specialising in immersive, high-quality spaces across the hotel, hospitality and commercial sectors. The studio takes a holistic approach to design, creating sensory-rich environments that enhance how people experience and interact with a space.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Part 3 Architect to join the studio and contribute to the delivery of ambitious, design-led projects from concept through to completion. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in London, with flexibility to work from home two days per week.

The successful candidate will play an important role within the architectural team, developing design proposals and translating creative concepts into well-resolved, technically robust and buildable solutions. You will work closely with interior designers, architects, consultants, contractors and clients, helping to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on programme and in accordance with relevant UK regulations and standards.

The role will involve developing and coordinating architectural information across all project stages, producing and reviewing technical and construction drawings, coordinating consultant information, and supporting the delivery of projects on site. You will be expected to take ownership of architectural packages, contribute to design development and technical reviews, identify and resolve design and construction issues, and maintain a high level of quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Part 3 Architect with strong post-qualification experience, ideally gained within a design-led practice working across hospitality, hotels, commercial or other complex projects. You will have a strong understanding of architectural design, construction, detailing and project delivery, with the ability to confidently move between creative design development and technical resolution.

Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning, construction methods, materials and architectural detailing is essential. Strong proficiency in Revit, with experience working within BIM environments, is highly desirable. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and consultant information, as well as working with contractors and interpreting information on site, would be advantageous.

You will be a confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, comfortable taking responsibility for your work while collaborating effectively within a creative and multidisciplinary team. A keen eye for detail, strong design sensibility and the ability to balance design ambition with technical and commercial considerations are essential.

Please apply with your CV and relevant portfolio/work examples if this opportunity sounds suitable for you.
