Job Description
Their portfolio spans luxury private residences, yachts, hotels, bars, restaurants, and the studio brings together a diverse and exceptionally talented team of interior architects, designers, and creatives from around the world.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled FF&E Associate to lead the organisation and operations of their FF&E department. Reporting to the Design Director and Founder, this role carries full autonomy to structure and optimise departmental processes and elevate project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end hospitality design, combined with the ability to deliver refined luxury residential projects and specialist conveyance schemes.
This leadership role oversees multiple project teams, ensuring consistent quality, budget control, and smooth installation across all studio projects. Key duties include managing daily departmental operations, developing and mentoring team members, and enforcing best-practice standards in specification, procurement, and documentation.
The role involves directing bespoke furniture, lighting, and joinery development, working with artisans internationally, and acting as the studio’s expert in complex hospitality procurement and operational requirements. It also includes curating and integrating antiques and mid-century pieces, managing budgets and schedules, and guaranteeing accuracy across all FF&E documentation.
The successful candidate will cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and artisans, oversee installation alongside project teams, and ensure all FF&E meets relevant UK and international compliance standards, including marine or aircraft requirements when needed.
Applicants should have over 10 years of FF&E experience- largely within high-end hospitality- alongside proven delivery of luxury residential projects and at least 3 years of team or departmental leadership. Strong market knowledge, a full understanding of the FF&E lifecycle, expertise in bespoke fabrication, proficiency in key industry software, and excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential. A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Full time studio-based role.
